PRIVACY POLICY


 

The employees of Fliesen FILA e.U. are subject to the confidentiality obligations of the Data Protection Act.

The customer acknowledges that the use of the data about the customer listed in the contract will be stored and processed for the purposes of our accounting and customer records. The data will be used to comply with legal regulations and to process payment transactions. Customer data will not be passed on to third parties, unless this is absolutely necessary for the execution of the contract. Contractual partners of Fliesen FILA e.U. are instructed about these data protection regulations and are obliged accordingly.

In the case of mailings about services and products of Fliesen FILA e.U. (events, publications...) of any kind, § 107 TKG (Telecommunications Act) applies.
 

Information storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for later contract processing, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner within the framework of cookies, as well as the name, address, ATU number, telephone number and e-mail address of the buyer.
The data provided by you is required for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After cancellation of the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and purchase date will be stored beyond that until the expiry of product liability (10 years).  The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary for the performance of the contract) of the DSGVO.


Newsletter
Our newsletter records the opening and click behavior. Specifically, the following information is tracked: time of delivery, time of opening, duration of opening, IP address of opening, email program used (mail client), which link was clicked and the time of the click.

This data is stored and processed for the sole purpose of being able to send recipients tailored and relevant content. This data is processed exclusively within the European Union and is not passed on to third parties or merged with other data. The data is stored until the newsletter is cancelled.


Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly and to provide you with a better user experience. Generally, cookies are used to store user preferences, retain information for shopping carts, for example, and provide anonymized tracking for third-party applications such as Google Analytics. Use of IP addresses
Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible.


Access data

Every time a user accesses our website and every time a file on the server is retrieved or attempted to be retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. It is not directly traceable for us which user has retrieved which data. We also do not attempt to collect this information. This would only be possible in legally regulated cases and with the help of third parties (e.g. Internet service providers). In detail, the following data records are stored about each retrieval:

host name and IP address of the accessing computer
the time of the server request
In addition, we process your personal data in special cases due to the legitimate interests of us or legitimate third parties in legal prosecution or by order of legally authorized authorities or courts.

We store data to ensure the security of our homepage for 3 to 12 months, depending on the service. Longer storage only takes place if this is necessary to investigate detected attacks on our website or to pursue legal claims.

For the above-mentioned purposes, we have your personal data collected by our site provider, World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 35, 4020 Linz, Austria/Europe.


SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.


Rights as a data subject
You have the right to information about your personal data, as well as the right to correction or deletion or restriction of processing.
